Exactly what is the zone diet? Is it new? Any info would be greatly appreciated!!
the Zone Diet is another name for the isocaloric diet. it’s when you consume equal amounts of protein, carbohydrates and fats. so if you were consuming 2,000 cals daily it would be 33% protein, 33% carbohydrates and 33% fats.
protein and carbs are 4 cals per gram
fat is 9 cals per gram
660 cals = 165 grams of protein daily
660 cals = 165 grams of carbs daily
660 cals = 73 grams of fat daily
* when the right foods are selected this type of diet can be very effective for reducing body fat.
