What are good foods to eat to boost your metabolism? Thank you!!!!
no foods in general will boost a metabolism. you have to do high intensity cardio 5 times a week.. i run on the treadmill for 20 minutes a day and increase speed each minute for 5 minutes then drop back down to my starting point. this helps keep your heart rate over 150 which is when you start to burn fat and helps you burn fat up to an hour after working out. and make sure you are eating 5-6 small meals each day. this will build your metabolism so you can enjoy eating and not put on as much weight. try this and see what happens but you have to give it a week or 2. just remember eating less more often is the best diet…..

protien fish ,eggs ,chicken and veggies

Drink green tea, eat 6 small meals a day to keep your body working- which increases your metabolism overall…
Drinking 8+ glasses of water to ensure hydration also helps, but not a ton; eating a grapefruit is helpful to boosting it too.
I've heard that if you drink something cold before you eat, your body has to heat up more to stay at a regulatory temp, which increases metabolism- but don't quote me on that! (;

I'm thinking just the basic healthy stuff, like fruits, veggies, cheese or yogurt, etc. But I do know you should eat soon after you get up in the morning to get your metabolism going, and eat a little snack every few hours.

http://www.bfl.com the diet i am on its not really a diet just a health plan.. its awesome. ive lost 6 pounds and 3 inches in 3 weeks my husband 42 pounds and 8 inches in 16 weeks.
as odd as it sounds water is a great way to keep hydrated and keep that metabolism running on high. Remember to eat natural sugars that only come in the shape of a fruit. Have your high protein in the morning and a little more at lunch. Have a egg or 2 in the morning and have a whole wheat slice of toast with jam. Your body needs a good round boost of everything in the morning. So the sugar and protein will get you started and on the right track. If you start to work out and as the weeks go by you will increase those workouts you should see that your body is keeping your metabolism running good
