If I took an energy drink before bed would it boost my metabolism in my sleep?

Usually energy drinks don't keep me awake, but they do boost metabolism right? So would it make sense that if you were looking to lose weight you drank an energy drink before bed every night?
lol
This drink, enviga "the calorie burner" only has 5 calories and says that it burns calories. So i'm not talking about the more caloric energy drinks.
Also, I feel some sort of energy kick but not enough that would keep me awake.
A very light meal is even better….a half cup of fat free cottage cheese with some sliced peaches….lots of protein, natural sugar and it's enough food to give your metabolism something to do for a while…

If they do not keep you up, then they are not increasing your metabolism..

I don't think it works that way. All I know is drinking something with a lot of calories before you sleep isn't a good thing.

Probably not because they have so many calories in them…

If they have calories then you are not gaining anything.

don't think so, basically energy drinks don't do s#!t for me

Nope, I think it would just keep you awake, make you need to pee and give you a sugar rush and don't they have lots of calories in them- so probably in the long run would actually decrease your metabolism.

you dont really need to take an energy drink because when your asleep your body makes natural hgh in your sleep which helps you loose weight.

No it wouldn't.
